Marc Levesque

Marc Levesque is the Addressing Project Manager on the Michael Baker Jr. Project Management Team that is assisting the West Virginia Statewide Addressing and Mapping Board. He is the principal of Acadia Research, LLC, a geographic information services and training firm and served as the Addressing Project Manager for Maine’s statewide E9-1-1 addressing project from 1994 through 2001. During this project, he led statewide addressing efforts on behalf of the Maine Emergency Services Communications Bureau and developed the Maine E9-1-1 Addressing Guidebook for Local Governments. Other clients have included municipal police and fire departments, county emergency management and response agencies, and regional planning agencies. Marc has been an ESRI Authorized Instructor for ArcView and ArcGIS software since 1998 and has presented conference sessions, workshops, and training courses for over 25 years. He has published articles on a variety of subjects, including one on statewide rural addressing in the NENA News.

Marc holds an undergraduate degree from Boston College and a graduate degree from the University of Southern Maine. He is a member of the National Emergency Number Association (NENA), the Urban and Regional Information Systems Association (URISA), and the Northeast Arc Users Group (NEARC).
